On Our Way Soon!

Two weeks from today, there will be a group of thirty people from the US, traveling to Romania for a great mission experience. The focus of our trip will be again the village of Archita, situated just outside of the city of Sighisoara. This is going to be my fifteenth mission. I am very grateful for the passion and dedication of Diane Johansen who returns to lead and work with the children for the ninth time. We also have other team members returning to Romania for years. For those who return as well as for the first timers, this is going to be a great experience.

The second week of August, for five days, our team will work directly with the children of the village. Every morning we will spend time with over two hundred children. Since we are returning to the village after our visit last year, we are looking forward to see the beautiful faces of the children we got to know and love.

The last day of our time on Sighisoara, we will be part of a great wedding celebration as fifteen couples desire to have their marriage blessed in a religious ceremony. After the ceremony, we will have a wedding party for the whole village. Pastor Florin, the local Romanian pastor told us to expect over five hundred people to participate.

That same day we will have the dedication of the first fresh water well built and sponsored by St. Andrews Andrews Presbyterian Church in Newport Beach, California. Trevecca Okholm, the children’s director from St. Andrews is traveling with us for the occasion.

The second week in the country we will move to work with children in Saes, a small village outside Sighisoara.

We still need sponsors for the children and for the events in Archita and Saes.

If you desire to make a last minute donation for this mission, please do so online or by mail.

We appreciate your partnership and willingness to help.

Blessings,

Rev. Paul Muresan
